Purpose of processing:
Vehicle testing with the use of camera footage

Description of the purpose of processing:
As part of the test drives, we take audiovisual recordings of the car's exterior in order to ensure the appropriate quality and safety of our cars. The primary purpose of camera recordings is to analyze the behavior of the car and its assistance and safety systems in traffic on roads. Test vehicles that use a camera to record their surroundings are marked with the camera pictogram in a red triangle, the internet address is stated below. Most often on the front fenders or doors.

Records are kept for three weeks after they are taken. They are then deleted or further store in an anonymized form.

Authorization to process:
We have a legitimate interest in using cameras to scan the exterior of test cars in road traffic. The records serve to analyze the safety of the vehicle behavior and vehicle‘s assistance and safety systems.

3 weeks from recording.

Categories of processors or recipients to whom we may disclose personal data:
Your personal data may be provided on request to public authorities, in particular the courts, the Police of the Czech Republic and other institutions active in criminal proceedings, to the necessary extent and within the bounds of the law.

Source of personal data:
The primary purpose of recording is to capture the vehicle's surroundings in order to analyze its behavior in various situations. You may be captured on some recordings. Your image will never be subject to subsequent analysis.

Transfer of personal data to third countries or multinational companies:
As part of the aforementioned processing, your personal data will not be transmitted to third countries or multinational companies.

Automated decision-making on the basic of personal data:
This does not occur as part of this processing.

Other information:
The personal data may be subject to archiving in the public interest and used for the purposes of scientific, historical or statistical research. In justified cases, personal data may be subject to processing in order to resolve legal matters, including the performance of duties towards public authorities, and monitoring and continuous evaluation of legal risks.

What are your rights?

You have the following rights regarding the processing of personal data:

The right to access your personal data that are being processed.

The right to withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal data.

The right to correction of inaccurate or incorrect data or to addition of missing data.

The right to have your personal data erased if they are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were collected or in the event of unauthorized processing.

The right to restrict or block the personal data processing.

The right to receive your personal data in a structured and machine-readable format for yourself or for another controller.

The right to object to the processing of your personal data if you believe that the processing is not legitimate.
